The Passover meal and Feast of Unleavened bread.

During a Passover meal a very interesting thing takes place. There are three Matzoh crackers/ unleavened bread that are placed in a bag of fine linen cloth. If you take a look at the Matzoh crackers/unleavened bread you will see holes and stripes across the bread. Think about what happened to Yeshua/Jesus before and also when He was placed on the cross. The nails in His hands and feet, His flesh was broken when they beat Him, the crown of thorns tore into His Skin.  Think about what He suffered and take a look at the Matzoh bread. The three pieces of Unleavened Bread represent the God head, Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Matzoh bread in the centre represents Yeshua our Messiah/Jesus that is broken for us!! The larger of the two pieces is called the "Afikoman", meaning "after supper" or "dessert"~~~ saving the best for last!! This dessert bread is then wrapped in Linen cloth and hidden away in the house to be found later, after the Passover Meal. Sound familiar?

The significance of this dessert bread is clear for all to see. Yeshua that same night in which He was betrayed took bread (matzoh) and when He had given thanks said; Take eat: for this is My body, which is broken for you. 1 Cor 11:24 Yeshua/Jesus is our bread of life..., broken for us for he was bruised for our iniquities in body and spirit for our sins Isaiah 53, Psalm 22, Psalm 69.

After the Last Supper, He suffered a terrible whipping, and along with that, the mocking and the spitting......After His most amazing painful crucifixion, our Saviour gave up the Ghost and died. He was then placed in Joseph of Arimethea grave, for Joseph was later given the body of Jesus, and wrapped Him for burial in the finest of linen. Mark 15:43. Jesus is our actual afikomen ~~ pierced and broken, wrapped in excellent cloth and hidden in a tomb, until the Resurrection.... this is the reward of the Redeemed, the best is for last. Jesus spent three nights in the heart of the earth Matthew 12:40. Remember He was wrapped in linen Matthew 27:59. This was done for our redemption for those who believe in Him, for those who have truly and deeply repented, He took our place, He who knew no sin became sin for us... And died a very painful death on our behalf.  After those three days and nights, He rose from the dead and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, waiting for all who truly sup with Him, to repent deeply of their sins.. to allow Him to live His life in us, for us to abide in HIM, to be made one with him, bone of his bone, flesh of His flesh!!!

How do you eat his flesh and drink his blood? His word is bread that makes our hearts glad, but the blood is where the life is found. How do you drink his blood? Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him John 6:53-57.

What happens when you eat food? It gets turned into energy, minerals and vitamins are extracted. Where is that energy released, into your blood and it gives us life. What am I saying? Spiritual life is found in the implanted word in our hearts. So what would be the consequences of that?? Eternal life!! If life is in our hearts it's going to be pumped into our blood. The word is spirit and life. So, if we eat of it properly, then what? It will give us life, we will receive that spirit and life of him, eternal life. The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam (Jesus) was made a quickening spirit 1Co 15:45.

What a thought... how amazing and powerful this is!! To some who are deaf in spirit, this would be riddles; it is for those who can hear :) Hear what and how? In his spirit! How? Through His word, life giving word, through His spirit. What gives the word life? Yeshua, His spirit does.  Now we have to go to Him to have life, for the scriptures only point to Him. For there is no life outside of him, only death outside of him. The scriptures are only a written testimony of Him John 5:39-40, and they who are born from above will last forever and ever with Him~~!!!

The next time you read His word made alive by His Spirit, know you are partaking from the tree of life.  It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life John 6:63.

Draw unto Yeshua/Jesus... For He is your very LIFE!!!
